An impressive evening of artistry and reflection. This is the story of the tragic death of twelve-year-old Chanie Wenjack during his escape from Indian Residential School. It is an evening that will awaken the heart, mind and soul through music, animated illustration, photography and the spoken word.

The evening is featuring the impactful film “The Secret Path” by Gord Downie and Jeff Lemire, followed by a panel discussion with residential school survivors, traditional ceremonies led by local First Nations elders, and more.
