Reporting to the Manager, Indigenous Cancer Care Unit, the role of Regional Program Manager is to provide innovative leadership and direction regarding the development and implementation of Ontario Health’s Indigenous Strategies, including the Indigenous Cancer Strategy and the Indigenous Health Equity and Coordination Strategies. The Regional Program Manager is a unique role and will work with a diverse group of external and internal partners to provide innovative leadership to ensure that Indigenous people in Ontario have access to equitable and culturally relevant healthcare programs and services. The role is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with Indigenous and non-Indigenous partners, better coordinating Indigenous health equity work across Ontario Health and the Regions, and leading the development of provincial and regional policies, projects and strategies with and for Indigenous communities in Ontario within timeline deliverables and budget.
14 months’ temporary full-time.
