Webinar | CAMH - Strengths-Based Strategies for Challenges at School

  • Demystify “challenging behaviour” through an exploration of its roots, from trauma and adverse childhood experiences to cultural considerations, culminating in practical strategies for nurturing healthy relationships and behaviours

  • Intended audience: Ontario-based First Nations, Inuit, Métis mental health professionals, community helpers or educators who work with Indigenous children in school

  • By registering I agree to the following statements: 

  • Confidentiality: I will not share identifying information about any community members I am supporting during the training. I will not share any personal information or stories shared by other participants outside of this training event

  • Being present: I will refrain from multi-tasking during the training (e.g., having training on in the background, attending to other computer work, traveling)

  • Participation: I will attend all breakout sessions and participate in group discussions and activities that are part of the training

  • Safe space: I still not share information or stories that might be triggering or traumatizing. I will be respectful of others when interacting in the chat box or in discussion

  • Attendance: participants must attend all days and participate in learning activities to get a certificate. Participants who miss a day will have to make up that day at the next scheduled session in order to receive a certificate.
